Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • 1 stick butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 can Hershey syrup
  • 1 ½ cups flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 ⅓ cups sugar
  • 6 tablespoons milk
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Directions

1. Beat well together, 1 1/2 cups sugar and butter. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Add remaining ingredients until mixture is smooth. Pour into jelly roll size pan that has been greased and floured. Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes.
2. Frosting:
3. Boil together 1 1/3 cup sugar, 6 tablespoons milk and 6 tablespoons butter for one minute. Remove from heat and add 1/2 cup chips. Pour onto brownies immediately.
