Ingredients

  • 2 eggs-separated
  • cup beer
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter

Directions

Beat egg yolks and beer together. Gently stir in flour and salt until well blended. Mix in butter and allow to stand at room temperature for 30 minutes. Beat egg whites stiff and fold into flour mixture. Deep fry at 400°. Enough for a couple pounds.
