Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 pound sirloin beef, sliced thinly
  • cups low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons fresh grated ginger
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup carrots, matchstick cut
  • 2 small onions, wedged
  • 4-5 cups broccoli
  • 3-4 tablespoon oil
  • 1 clove of garlic, grated

Directions

Combine the water and cornstarch until smooth and add beef. Mix together next five ingredients. Heat 1 T oil. Cook beef and remove. Add 2T oil and stir fry carrots, onion, and broccoli for four minutes. Add garlic. Add beef, then liquid and heat through. Serve over rice.
