Ingredients

  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 eggs
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • ½ cup softened butter
  • 16 ounces powdered sugar

Directions

Beat first five ingredients until well blended. Beat on medium for 2 minutes. Pour into 9x13 prepared pan. Bake at 350° for approximately 35 minutes. Cool completely. Beat cream cheese and butter until well blended. Remove cake from pan and cut with serrated knife in half. Spread frosting between layers. Use remaining frosting to cover top and sides of cake. Keep refrigerated.
